This position requires 75% travel and frequent driving within the region. Applicants need to currently reside in the Atlantic Region. (NC, SC, VA, WV, MD).

Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for a Field Sales Representative II to join our team in the Atlantic Coast Territory USA - (South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland). As a Field Sales Representative II, you will be responsible for ensuring that expected revenue and customer satisfaction goals are accomplished in the assigned territory serving Milacron's customers in the plastics processing industry.

Responsibilities
  • Sell four main product lines: Machines, Twin Screws & Barrels, Gearboxes and Tooling items to achieve Sales Revenue Plan (Sales Territory, Focused Product Categories, & By Customer).
  • Design and execute effective business plans linked to the overall sales strategy, and make corresponding customer calls.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the formal sales process and how to positively affect it in terms of increasing revenue.
  • Understand competitors and their practices within the assigned region.
  • Actively participate in offered sales training and development programs to progress in overall success and capabilities.
  • Review sales performance within the assigned territory, account, and primary product group to determine successful performance or to identify root causes and countermeasures; execute countermeasures and actions.
  • Routinely travel to visit all assigned accounts, demonstrating work ethic, organization, execution of business planning, in-person customer impact, and sales skills; estimated travel 75% on average monthly basis.
  • Work aggressively to close all sales opportunities.
  • Support the monthly Goal Deployment process and present insights discovered through analytics to create actionable results.
  • Routinely maintain the company CRM / Sales Call Management System & Sales Reporting process.
  • Attend required/approved sales meetings, business meetings, and industry conventions.
  • Help assimilate necessary information towards business plan development including market sizing, SWOT analysis, market projections, and aftermarket projections.
  • Perform other ad-hoc analyses and special assignments as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or four to five years of experience in Business Administration or Marketing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years in an outside B2B field sales role, preferably within a technical or capital equipment sales industry. Experience in the plastic extrusion and/or injection-molding industry is a plus.
