Position Overview

This role covers Central Missouri, where you will create demand for Bayer seed products among retailers, dealers, and top growers. You will work closely with the team to meet sales targets, demonstrate product performance, and support Bayer's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets with Bayer products in collaboration with team members;
  • Develop dealer business plans and manage forecasting, inventory, and demand;
  • Serve as a consultant to retailers and dealers, promoting Bayer Crop Science products;
  • Collaborate with other sales and technical team members to maximize sales and service;
  • Manage inventory and analyze market data to inform business decisions;
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including top growers and retailers;
  • Mentor interns and junior staff;
  • Travel up to 60% for customer interactions.
Qualifications
Required
  • Strong agronomic and product knowledge preferred;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Results-driven with initiative and assertiveness;
  • Business acumen, account planning, and influencing skills;
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Willingness to travel and work in rural environments;
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 3+ years in sales, marketing, or agriculture, or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $70,068.82 to $105,103.24, with potential bonuses or commissions. Benefits include health care, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and more.
