Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. This outside sales role offers pre-qualified leads, a weekly base pay with commission, and growth opportunities within a trusted national brand.

Responsibilities include selling sewer line repair and replacement solutions to residential and commercial properties, conducting camera assessments, and delivering competitive quotes to close sales.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and pass background check.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; use company systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Plumbing experience is not required.
• Outgoing self-starter with an outside sales mindset.
• Outside sales experience in in-home services preferred.

Field Sales Representative - Excavation

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. If you excel in outside sales and want to grow with a leading company, we want to hear from you!

This opportunity provides:

• Unlimited earnings - Sales Representatives are paid a weekly salary of $500 during and after training. After training, they are eligible for 5% of total sales after $15,000 in qualified sales and then an additional 2% of total sales after $25,000 in qualified sales.
• This position has a weekly base pay plus commission.
• All leads provided, no cold calls.

• Total yearly earnings including bonus and mileage reimbursement averages between $70,000-$100,000.

Responsibilities

Excavation Sales Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

Excavation Sales Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel. You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
