Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Field Sales Representative for our Excavation department to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. If you excel in outside sales, you will identify and close sewer line repair solutions for residential and commercial properties.

This role offers unlimited earnings (average 75k-100k per year) with mileage reimbursement, weekly base pay plus commissions, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean background per company standards.
• Excellent customer service habits and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Proficient with Word/Excel and Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair/replacement solutions for residential/commercial properties.
• Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine root interruption or breakage.
• Proactive follow-up with existing customers to deliver effective solutions.
• Use pricing matrix/insurance guidelines to quote options and close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. Responsibilities

Excavation Sales Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

Excavation Sales Requirements

• A valid driver's license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel. You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
