Position Overview

The Crop Protection/Seeds & Traits Field Sales Representative will focus on increasing market share within a designated territory by promoting Bayer's products to retailers, dealers, and top growers. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, developing dealer business plans, managing inventory, and collaborating with team members to maximize sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets for Bayer products in coordination with team members.
  • Develop and execute dealer business plans and manage forecasting and inventory.
  • Act as a business consultant to retailers and dealers, demonstrating product value and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Manage inventory concerns and analyze market data to inform decisions.
  • Travel approximately 60% within the assigned territory, primarily day travel.
Qualifications
Required
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, oral, and written).
  • Product, portfolio, and agronomic knowledge.
  • Results-driven with initiative and assertiveness.
  • Strong business acumen and account planning skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze data and support digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work in rural environments.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years in sales, marketing, or agriculture, or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: approximately $106,226.73 - $159,340.09, plus potential bonuses or commissions. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and more.
