Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will drive profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Your responsibilities include:

  • Learn and understand the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, and value propositions, through training and self-study.
  • Implement the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, meet sales quotas, and stay informed of sales strategies.
  • Manage assigned accounts, research contact information, build calling lists, and maintain CRM data.
  • Promote new account development through prospecting, meetings, industry events, and presentations.
  • Grow existing customer business by understanding client needs and conveying the value of WK solutions.
  • Identify gaps in products and work with Product Managers on enhancements.
  • Increase market share by engaging with target accounts and decision-makers.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and manage account/channel conflicts.
  • Develop and update an Annual Business Plan, participate in weekly and quarterly reviews.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of relevant software/SaaS sales experience.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in B2B sales, with experience in software, SaaS, or content information, and a proven record of meeting/exceeding sales goals. Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce is required.

Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in consultative sales approaches.
  • Ability to work independently within a matrix organization.
  • Recognition through sales awards and formal sales training.
  • Flexible work schedule and excellent facilitation skills.
Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits and events.

Compensation

Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750.
