Ingersoll Cutting Tools is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to support and grow our customer base in the Metro Detroit region. The role involves daily travel to visit customers, build relationships, and drive sales growth with cutting tools and tooling systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in technical sales or CNC machining/programming, plus hands-on machining experience and CNC programming (manual/CAM).

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in technical sales or CNC machining/programming.
• Hands-on machining experience applying cutting tools across materials.
• CNC programming experience (manual and CAM systems).

Responsibilities

• Field-based role requiring daily travel (70–80%) throughout the territory.
• Focus on in-person visits, relationship building and sales growth.
• Collaborate with customers to drive tool adoption and performance.
