Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned retail sales goals within a small to mid-sized territory.
- Maintain a consistent in-store presence 4–5 days per week (Tuesday through Saturday), with two office days per month.
- Drive product sales by identifying potential clients, providing tailored consultations, and converting leads into sales within a Sephora environment.
- Deliver best-in-class education through effective, hands-on training sessions.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with store teams, brand partners, and internal Saie team members.
- Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of in-store training sessions and events.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld, including maintaining tester units and gondolas, and working with store management to optimize product placement.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Senior Field Sales Director (NA) and Director of Education, sharing in-store feedback to help drive business results.
- Complete administrative tasks such as sales reports, recaps, budgets, travel bookings, and email communications by specified deadlines.
- Recruit, schedule, and manage a team of freelance Selling Specialists to support store-level initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of cosmetic retail and customer service experience; Sephora experience is a strong plus.
- 1+ years of Sales and Education Coordinator or similar field-based experience preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on makeup artistry experience required.
- Deep passion for clean and sustainable beauty, with the ability to speak authentically about Saie’s mission and values.
- Confident in applying makeup, offering product recommendations, and shade matching across all skin tones.
- Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—with the ability to educate, inspire, and motivate teams.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive.
- Ability to implement focused sales strategies that drive measurable results.
- Approachable, professional, and adaptable with a positive, engaging presence.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Willing and able to travel throughout the assigned territory for store visits, trainings, and events.
