Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Utility Safety Technician to support safety programs across substation, underground utility, overhead distribution and transmission projects.

You will conduct routine field inspections, enforce OSHA standards, and help implement project‑specific safety initiatives in a dynamic field setting. This role requires a minimum of 5 years safety experience in utility or industrial construction, OSHA 30, and various safety trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in utility/construction sectors.
• OSHA 30 Construction and other safety trainings.
• Experience conducting inspections, investigations, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine field safety inspections on utility construction projects.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and company safety policies.
• Assist in developing and implementing accident prevention programs.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety communications.
• Participate in pre-task planning and JHAs.
• Maintain safety records and audit documentation.
