Job summary

Evolution Safety Resources, based in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a full-time field safety representative to inspect client sites and ensure compliance with federal, state, and best practice safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes prevention, requires OSHA 30 (and preferred OSHA 500) credentials, and favors candidates with 5 years of field safety experience. Candidates willing to travel and possibly relocate to Raleigh area will be considered.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 credentials is required.
• OSHA 500 credentials preferred.
• Field Safety Experience - 5 yrs preferred.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operate manuals, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Inspect client sites for safety compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and NFPA standards.
• Report unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment at worksites.
• Maintain daily inspection and incident reports for customers.
• Monitor chemical inventory as required (HAZCOM).
• Represent the organization in safety groups and programs.
