Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Occupational Health & Safety Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. The Area Safety Specialist will conduct site safety evaluations, deliver training, and lead incident investigations across the Austin–Dallas–Houston region.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in safety-related field, 2+ years in construction or industrial safety, OSHA 30, and willingness to travel. Strong communication and collaboration will be essential to promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• CSP/CHST or similar credential is a plus.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and audits of active job sites to assess safety compliance.
• Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and safety concerns; document findings and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training programs including new hire orientation and toolbox talks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health, or related field

OSHA 30 certification

CSP or CHST (or similar credential)

Excellent communication and training delivery
