Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking a Safety & Health Specialist to lead field safety evaluations across active job sites, deliver training, and investigate incidents. This role requires 2+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills.

Travel up to multiple states is expected, with ongoing collaboration across regional teams to improve safety performance. The ideal candidate will coach field personnel, document findings, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in construction or industrial safety.
• OSHA 30 certification required; CSP, CHST or similar credential a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the greater South Florida area (Tampa to Miami) and occasionally surrounding states (TN / GA / AL / SC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety inspections and audits at active job sites to assess safety compliance.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations and maintain records.
• Provide on-the-spot coaching to field personnel during site visits.
• Coordinate with regional safety specialists to share findings and best practices.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Track FPPE compliance metrics and report trends to leadership.
