WECTEC Staffing Svcs LLC in Norwell, MA seeks an Safety Specialist to support field safety, inspections, and contractor safety programs onsite for a 1-year contract. The role emphasizes collaboration with partners and implementing safety plans across projects.

Ideal candidates bring OSHA 30, excavation competency, First Aid/CPR, and 5+ years of health and safety experience (or a safety degree with 3+ years). Strong communication and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 hour required.
• Experience with health & safety risk management processes.
• Ener gy industry experience.
• Competent person (excavation) from an accredited learning organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to address safety issues and provide technical safety support.
• Inspect area/regional construction and pipe installations; shadow pre-construction activities and ensure safe work execution.
• Conduct audits to ensure Contractor Safety and Environmental compliance.
• Participate in area safety assessments, inspections, observations, and quality reviews.
• Support incident investigations, corrective actions, and management reviews with contractors and construction teams.
