Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Safety Professional to support safety planning on an Advanced Technology project. You will work with project management and field crews to ensure work is planned and performed safely in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong field presence, clear communication, and a willingness to learn. Start times are early with potential for weekends and additional shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction safety experience or similar field safety role.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support incident prevention through field observations and inspections.
• Conduct job walks to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with superintendents and crews to support safe work planning.
• Assist with inspections of job site areas, tools, equipment, and practices.
• Support safety requirements for fall protection, confined space, hazardous energy, scaffolding, excavation, and material handling.
• Participate in incident investigations and help gather facts.
