A leading company is seeking qualified Safety Specialists for hybrid positions involving field safety observations and incident investigations. Candidates will assess compliance with safety procedures and coordinate with contractors. Various levels available, from Associate to Expert, with competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
Clear Path is seeking qualified Safety Specialists who can perform Field Safety Observations and lead & participate in all safety incident investigations for our client, PG&E. Hiring will be based on PG&E needs and can be in any PG&E VM region. These are hybrid positions with frequent travel during the day to field locations, meetings, and trainings, with limited overnight travel.
PG&E uses contractors to perform Field Safety Observations to assess Tree Crew and Pre-Inspection workers' compliance with safety procedures and specifications. This includes planned and unplanned safety observations, documenting and tracking safety incidents, injuries, near misses, work errors, and property damage. Coordination with third-party contractors and subcontractors is required to ensure jobsite safety and validate contractor grades in ISN.
We are hiring for four levels: Safety Manager, Safety Specialist Associate, Safety Specialist Intermediate, Safety Specialist Senior, and Safety Specialist Expert. Please specify the level when submitting your resume.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience includes five years in arboriculture or military, and three years as a safety observer, foreman, or trainer. Desired certifications include OSHA 30 focused on electric power, CDL, and ISA credentials. Hourly pay ranges from $40-46.

Experience includes five years in arboriculture or military, with at least one year in a trainer or safety role, and relevant safety observation work. Desired certifications are similar to Expert level. Hourly pay is $36-42.

Experience includes three years in arboriculture or military, with at least one year in a trainer or safety position. Desired certifications include CTSP or CUFSP, OSHA 30 focused on electric power, CDL, ISA credentials, and EHAP. Hourly pay ranges from $32-38.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred experience includes 10 years in utility tree work and certifications like CSP, OHST, or CIH. Hourly pay is $29-34.
