Job summary

E & A Welding and Oilfield Service, Inc. in West Texas seeks a safety-focused field technician to supervise and perform wellhead repairs, tank cleanouts, fire watch, and vessel work in demanding oilfield environments.

You will handle permitted work such as hot work, confined space, and lockout/tagout, with opportunities for 10-hour shifts, on-call duties, overtime, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 2 years of safety experience controlling safety-sensitive permitted work.
• 2 years of oilfield experience on drilling rigs, pulling units, roustabout, etc.
• Certification/training in safety required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and control field operations such as wellhead repairs, tank clean outs, fire watch and vessel repair.
• Conduct flow line testing and other oilfield service work as needed.
• Carry out permitted work including hot work, confined space, work at heights, and lock-out tag-out.

Job Description:

This safety position will perform and control field operations such as wellhead repairs, tank clean outs, fire watch, vessel repair, flow line testing, etc. Employees must be capable of performing and running permitted work such as hot work, confined space, work at heights, lock-out tags, etc.

Experience:

• 2 years of safety experience controlling safety-sensitive permitted work
• 2 years of oilfield experience working on drilling rigs, pulling units, roustabout, etc.

Requirements:

• HSE realted college degree preferred, but not required
• Must have safety certification/training
• Must have non-safety related field experience in roustabout, pulling units, drilling rigs, and other oilfield related service work

Pay:

• $20.00-$24.00/hour
