Job summary

hth companies seeks a Traveling Safety Manager based in Hannibal, MO. The role requires traveling to multiple locations to ensure safety compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT standards, and to support profitability and productivity goals.

You will train staff, perform hazard analyses, and lead safety initiatives across the field operations. Responsibilities include conducting training, audits, and safety meetings, maintaining records, and coordinating with corporate safety and site supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a direct Safety role.
• Experience with OSHA regulations for construction and industrial operations.
• Experience in writing reports and business correspondence and presenting to management.
• Experience in industrial settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises the Corporate Office on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
• Assist Corporate Safety and Site Superintendent in ensuring compliance and training of safety policies and procedures.
• Travels to various locations as needed; demonstrates flexibility for field work.
• Plan training with Site Supervision and conduct safety training for employees.
• Verify Job Hazard Analyses and permits are completed and hazards mitigated.
• Lead daily safety meetings and maintain a weekly summary log of meetings and observations.
• Conduct audits to ensure hazard identification and mitigation; ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain safety files, records, and reports; report incidents to Safety Director.
