Job summary

A leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction is seeking an experienced Safety Manager in North or South Carolina. This role involves coordinating safety programs and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related experience in heavy industrial settings. Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years of related experience in a commercial/heavy industrial HVAC or construction industry.
• Degree in Environmental Health and Safety field preferred but not required.
• 10/30 Hour OSHA or other professional training agency certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with implementation of OSHA, MSHA, EPA, ANSI, DOT and other safety standards.
• Conduct safety training during New Hire Orientations.
• Conduct safety meetings at company facility and job site.
