Job summary

Bird Electric Enterprises, a Black & Veatch company, is seeking a Site Field Safety Coordinator for the Pecos, TX area to manage field personnel and ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, programs, and procedures. You will help create and maintain site safety programs and communicate expectations to teams on site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel extensively to project sites.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
• Must complete pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and MVR as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Drive safety policies and procedures.
• Support safety training and education to employees.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and training.
• Review customers permit systems and related safety procedures.
