Job summary

A leading construction safety firm is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support fiber installation teams for a large-scale data center project in Northern Virginia. Responsibilities include ensuring safety standards, providing oversight for operations, and managing digital documentation. Ideal candidates will have OSHA 30 certification, necessary safety credentials, and experience in industrial environments. This entry-to-mid-level role offers a collaborative environment with potential for growth and development.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is a minimum requirement.
• Experience in Utility, Pipeline, Railroad, or Heavy Civil Construction is preferable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 2-3 week training in South Carolina for safety processes.
• Maintain a boots-on-the-ground presence to ensure workflow and safety.
• Provide oversight for cable-pulling operations and support technical teams.
• Enforce disposal protocols for micro-debris and oversee safety for aerial lift work.
• Lead daily hazard briefings and manage digital documentation via a mobile app.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority to address unsafe acts.
