Job summary

Keeley Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator for the Civil Infrastructure Group. The role requires travel to construction sites and a focus on enforcing OSHA standards, conducting inspections, and delivering safety training to crews.

Responsibilities include developing safety plans, investigating incidents, maintaining records, and promoting a culture of safety across projects. An associate or bachelor’s in a safety-related field is preferred along with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of safety-related experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations with emphasis in construction.
• CSP/CIH/CHST/OHST/CUSP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide safety training on topics such as fall protection, equipment use, emergency procedures, and hazard communication.
• Create and maintain site-specific safety plans and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, or near-misses and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies across activities.
• Oversee PPE use and maintenance to ensure safety equipment is in good condition.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
