Job summary

Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Safety Specialist to support field safety programs across operations. You will coach teams, conduct inspections, and help drive safe work practices with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include supporting investigations, delivering training, and monitoring corrective actions. The role requires regional travel and a hands-on, field-based approach to safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Technology, Emergency Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant operational safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry safety requirements is needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
• Ability to identify hazards, evaluate risk, and recommend practical corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide field safety coaching and inspections across facilities and operations.
• Assist with investigations of injuries, incidents, and near misses and track corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
• Support OSHA and company safety program compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor program effectiveness, trends, and corrective actions across locations.
