Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks an RV Adjuster to estimate damages for RVs, motorcycles, trailers, and commercial equipment in the Raleigh area. Field duties include in-person assessment and timely claim resolution.

You will mentor peers, apply mastering content, and support training while negotiating settlements and documenting actions for complex files. This is a field-based role with some travel within NC.

Job Description

Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party RV, Heavy Equipment, trailers, and Motorcycle material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.

We are seeking an RV Adjuster to support field operations across the Raleigh, Burlington, and Greensboro, NC areas. In this role, you will assess and estimate damages on RVs, motorcycles, trailers, and commercial equipment, helping ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
• As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation

• Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49-$40.99/hour
• Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03-$43.70/hour
• Field Adjuster Sr Cons I: $35.82-$50.24/hour

And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
