Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is seeking an RT Assistant to support the Shreveport office in Shreveport, LA. Responsibilities include preparing components for inspections and assisting certified technicians while learning project workflows.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, complete a 40-hour Radiation Safety Course, and may need an IRRSP card. Travel and safety requirements apply, with potential for growth and advancement within ATS.

Qualifications

• RT Assistants – Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT RT Assistant, High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; math and print reading skills.
• Completion of a 40 Hour Radiation Safety Course REQUIRED.
• State or IRRSP card preferred.
• Additional NDT certs are a plus.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components or equipment for inspections.
• Assist certified technicians on projects and learn activities.
• Interface with personnel to determine scope of work and priorities.
• Help clean and organize equipment before, during, and after projects.
• Document on job training experience as assigned by management.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
