Job summary

MICKEYVALENTINE LLC is seeking a dependable Field Route Service Technician to join our Plainview operations team. Most of the workday is on the road, servicing established customer locations across NY/NJ.

You start at our Plainview facility, then travel between sites performing routine service, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and mobile-app documentation. You work independently and must manage your day and route.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or route-driven work is helpful but not required if you learn quickly.
• A clean driving record and dependable attendance are important.
• Able to follow detailed routes and procedures accurately.

We are a growing service company looking for a dependable, hardworking Field Route Service Technician to join our operations team.

This is not a desk or warehouse position. Approximately 90% of the workday is spent on the road, traveling to established business locations throughout Long Island, New York City, and New Jersey.

Each workday begins at our Plainview, NY facility, where you will receive your assigned route and prepare for the day. You will then travel between customer locations performing scheduled service, basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and other route-related tasks.

The right person should be comfortable working independently for most of the day, following a detailed route, entering businesses professionally, working with equipment, using mobile applications/navigation, and solving basic technical problems in the field.

Responsibilities include:

• Start each workday from our Plainview facility
• Complete an assigned daily route throughout NY/NJ
• Visit and service established customer locations
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Accurately complete service records and mobile-app documentation
• Follow company procedures and route instructions
• Communicate problems or equipment issues to management

• Work independently while remaining accountable for completing the entire route

What we're looking for:

A reliable person with a strong work ethic who is comfortable spending most of the day driving and working independently. You should be technically capable, comfortable learning mechanical/electronic equipment, good with smartphones and apps, organized, punctual, and able to follow procedures accurately.

A clean driving record and dependable attendance are important. Previous field service, vending, route driving, equipment repair, maintenance, delivery-route, or technical experience is helpful but not required if you learn quickly.

This position is best for someone who likes being on the road rather than sitting in an office, is comfortable managing their own day, and takes responsibility for getting the job done correctly.
