Job summary

VALCOURT EXTERIOR FL BRD- Bradenton, FL is seeking a Roofing Field Technician to install, inspect, and maintain commercial roofing and waterproofing systems. You will perform leak investigations, apply membranes and coatings, and ensure work meets safety and industry standards.

The role requires the ability to perform demanding labor, work at heights, and adapt to changing job conditions. On-the-job training is provided for entry-level candidates, with potential for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform demanding labor and lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime or non-standard shifts as needed.
• Basic roofing or construction knowledge is a plus (preferred).
• On-the-job training provided for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial roofing and waterproofing work including installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Conduct leak investigations, water testing, and repairs for water infiltration issues.
• Apply roofing membranes, sealants, and waterproofing systems per specs and procedures.
• Assist in installation of roofing systems including coatings, flashing, and drainage components.
• Maintain tools and equipment; follow safety protocols and OSHA standards.
