Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking a Roofing Field Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial roofing and waterproofing systems. The role supports field operations by performing leak investigations and applying roofing and coating systems to ensure safety and quality.

Duties include installing membranes, sealants, and drainage components; performing exterior roof repairs; investigating water infiltration; and complying with OSHA standards and building codes.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in commercial roofing, waterproofing, construction, or a related field.
• On-the-job training will be provided for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems and coatings.
• Conduct leak investigations and water testing.
• Apply membranes, sealants, and waterproofing per specs.
• Assist installation of coatings, flashing, and drainage components.
• Perform exterior roof repairs on roofs, concrete, masonry, and sealant systems.
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, lifts (training provided).
• Perform integrity and troubleshooting tests for defects in roofing and waterproofing.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Comply with building codes and company policies.
