Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Inspector to join our independent contractor network. You will conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge tech.

Candidates must own a reliable vehicle capable of carrying at least a 32’ ladder and have access to a lidar device or the ability to obtain one; MS Office proficiency and HAAG certification are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must own a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32' ladder
• Must have a Lidar equipped device or ability to obtain one
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
• HAAG Certification is a plus
• Ability to work independently in varied weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs and assess exterior and interior damage
• Perform underwriting property inspections
• Utilize technology to assess property damage and prevent further harm until repairs
• Provide detailed, professional reports to insurers and clients
