Job summary

Gecko Robotics is seeking a Robot Field Operator to perform in-field inspections at customer sites and support the Gecko Operations Lead. You will handle maintenance of electromechanical equipment and ensure data integrity in challenging industrial environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical devices, a willingness to travel 75–90% of the time, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. We value teamwork and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Oil and gas or similar industrial experience required.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical devices/tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in safety-compliant environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-field robotic inspections at customer sites.
• Adhere to Gecko and customer safety policies, including PPE.
• Operate robotic inspection equipment and maintain data integrity.
• Maintain and repair robotic equipment when not in the field.
• Complete trip and expense reports and keep documentation up to date.
• Maintain knowledge of technical details of Gecko services and tools.
