Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a Field RN Supervisor for our home care team in North Carolina. The role focuses on assessing admissions, ongoing patient evaluations, and coordinating the plan of care with the care team to meet patient needs.

The successful candidate will hold an active NC RN license with no encumbrances, have at least three years of nursing experience, and preferably one year of supervisory nursing experience. Compliance with TB testing and state regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license (unencumbered).
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• Minimum of one year supervisory nursing experience preferred.
• Evidence of initial TB tests or screenings as required by law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Overview

The Field RN Supervisor is accountable for completing assessment to ensure the appropriateness of nursing services for all home care clients.

Responsibilities

• Assesses clients referred for home care to determine appropriateness for admission.
• Conducts ongoing comprehensive assessment of the clients per agency standards and timeline
• Develops the plan of care
• Coordinates with team members to support the development/revision of the plan of care
• Informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient’s condition and needs
• Communicate effectively with the care team to support ongoing care needs.
• Informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient’s condition and needs, and counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local government laws and guidelines as well as CBC Home Care policies and procedures.

• Maintain current RN license and required continuing education per State BON.
• Obtain initial TB testing/screening and other health exams as required by state regulations.
• Be aware and adhere to all federal and state regulatory standards.
• Adhere to CBC policies and procedures, Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and Rights & Responsibilities.
• To ensure the health and safety of individuals.
