Job summary

Title: Field Research Assistant

Description:

• With guidance from the supervisor and following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the technical assistant will perform a wide range of tasks in laboratory and field or greenhouse settings supporting the regulatory science research program.
• They will ensure quality and integrity of samples and data and assist with day-to-day sample processing operations (sample receipt, lyophilization, grinding, weighing, distribution, inventory and retention seed lot inventory, preparation for characterization and distribution activities (seed receipt, inventory, sub-sampling, cleaning, treating, packet printing, filling, scanning, devitalizing, grinding, shipping, sample retention, and discard) support other team needs including greenhouse and field data and sample collection.
