Job summary

Hydro, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer to evaluate centrifugal pumps and pumping systems at remote customer facilities across North America.

This home-based role requires travel throughout the USA and Canada, with responsibilities to gather field data and troubleshoot performance issues. The ideal candidate holds a BSME or equivalent and at least 5 years of pump experience, including vibration analysis (Level II).

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent engineering degree with 5 years of pump experience.
• Extensive vibration analysis experience (Level II required, Level III/IV preferred).

Responsibilities

• Solicit process data and historical information for rotating equipment at remote locations.
• Communicate professionally with customers to address concerns and uphold service standards.
• Field Engineering Analysis – Centrifugal Pumps.
• Analyze pump/system performance through infield performance testing.
• Write factual engineering reports translating results to customers and sales.
• Assist with warranty investigations and on-site training when needed.
• Travel up to 70% across USA and Canada.
