Job summary

EVERSANA is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to educate providers and payers about access and reimbursement for Shionogi products across defined geographies. This field-based role combines in-person visits with virtual education to optimize patient access.

You will collaborate with HUB, sales, market access, and payer policy teams; travel up to 60-70% domestically and build strong relationships with healthcare providers across neurology centers and hospitals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry with payer policy experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in benefit verifications and prior authorization or equivalent patient access experience.
  • Knowledge of CMS policies and Medicare Part D processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60-70% domestically.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

The EVERSANA/Shionogi - Field Reimbursement Manager is a field-basedrole that provides in person and virtual education to defined accounts within their assigned geographies on a range of access and reimbursement issues in support of Shionogi products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage daily field-based activities to support appropriate patient access in key neurologycenters and provider offices
  • Execute collaborative territory plan through partnership with internal and external stakeholders, which may include call center services (HUB),sales, market access, and other partners
  • Interact frequently in the field (60-70% of the time) with key stakeholders in multiple sites ofcare including, physician practices, hospitals, and other sites of care.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in educating healthcare provider staff on approved patient access services
  • Collaborate with various internal field teams to ensure appropriate education in assigned geography
  • Review and educate offices on payer policies such as prior authorization requirements to ensure patient access
  • Review patient-specific information in cases where the site hasspecifically requested assistance in resolving issues orcoverage challenges.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on local payer trends and access issues
  • Perform other duties as required
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry with experience in payer policy and reimbursement
  • Minimum of 3 years benefit verifications and prior-authorization requirement experience or equivalent experience in patient access, billing and coding - rare disease preferred
  • Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes with experience in Medicare Part D
  • Self-direction coupled with strong organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, consultative approach, and customer orientation; proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong communication skills: oral, written, training/presentation
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be able to travel up to 60-70% domestically
  • Valid driver’s license to drive to healthcare provider sites
