Role Overview: The Field Reimbursement Director is a provider/customer-facing role responsible for ensuring compliant payer coverage, coding, and reimbursement for Cepheid’s diagnostics. This position collaborates cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and the value and access team to engage targeted US customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Educate internal teams, healthcare providers, lab professionals, and financial decision-makers on diagnostics coverage, coding, and reimbursement landscape.
2. Develop understanding of coverage and reimbursement issues across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payers through research and customer interactions.
3. Address customer inquiries proactively and reactively regarding payer coverage and reimbursement.
4. Support customers with resources for denied claims, coverage expansion, and reimbursement issues.
5. Coordinate with sales colleagues for customer reviews and reimbursement support.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years.
2. 7+ years of market access experience in pharma, biotech, or diagnostics.
3. Knowledge of payer segments including Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid.
4. Strong presentation skills.

Preferred additional experience includes marketing/sales, policy review, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Travel & Environment: Up to 50% domestic travel within the region.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range $170,000 - $220,000 plus bonus/incentives. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Remote work arrangements are available.
