Harris Teeter in Durham/Chapel Hill is seeking a Refrigeration Technician II to provide equipment, refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, repair and support to assigned stores. You will demonstrate our values of respect, integrity and safety while keeping facilities in top condition.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, leak checks, compressor and motor replacements, and troubleshoot issues across store systems.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical Technical School training or 3-5 years refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• Ability to use control manufacturers’ software.

• Perform repairs and maintenance to building systems.
• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.
• Perform various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures to buildings and equipment.
• Performs compressor, large motor and component replacement.
• Perform leak checks and refrigerant management.
• Perform repairs to systems
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely.
• Clean and maintain company service vehicles, if one is assigned.
• Orally communicate with store personnel regarding the proper use of equipment as it relates to repeat calls and overtime.
• Utilize company email and to send and receive messages.
• Properly complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion.
• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
• Utilize company work order system for assignments and track time
