Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own an evidence device product within the Evidence Product Management team. You will maximize field readiness for software releases, new hardware, and feature introductions across mobile video products.

The role requires 5+ years in product/PM or systems engineering, strong technical knowledge of mobile video, and proven cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product or Project Management / Systems Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of mobile video systems, with a background in law enforcement or public safety preferred.
• Proven ability to develop materials and deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and collaboration across a global team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex features into go-to-market messaging.
• Solid project management and prioritization capabilities in fast-moving environments.
• Proficient with business analytics tools such as Google Workspace and Tableau.

Department Overview

The Evidence Product Management team owns the roadmap for delivering Motorola Solutions’ body cameras, vehicle cameras, and evidence management software. These products are used worldwide to keep communities and individuals safe in public safety and enterprise organizations.

Job Description

To help drive our rapid growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic product manager to join this team, and take ownership of one of our evidence device products. This role is responsible for maximizing the field readiness for new software releases, new hardware products and new feature introductions for product and related readiness across mobile video products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for making product enablement decisions and often acts as the lead resource for the rest of the organization when deep product expertise is required. This includes supporting the organizations that help bring the product to market and work directly with customers, including marketing, sales, training and support services.
• Drive Field Readiness: Develop and facilitate comprehensive sales and channel training programs to ensure internal teams are fully prepared prior to launch.
• Orchestrate Go-to-Market Assets: Partner with marketing to define, coordinate, and implement essential GTM assets, including demonstration environments, presentations, trials content and training materials.
• Evangelize Pre-Release Features: Conduct impactful demonstrations of new features for internal stakeholders to drive awareness and internal product adoption.
• Manage Early Testing Programs: Oversee the needs of the trials team by coordinating strategic "beta" and "early adopter" testing initiatives.
• Manage Customer Field Escalations: Serve as the primary product management point of contact for complex field escalations, collaborating with engineering and support teams to drive timely resolutions.
• Champion Field Feedback: Collect, analyze, and prioritize field-reported issues and customer feedback, feeding insights back into the product development roadmap to improve product stability and usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree - preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Product or Project Management / Systems Engineering
• Technical & Domain Expertise: Strong technical understanding of mobile video systems , with a preferred background in law enforcement or public safety.
• Training & Enablement: Proven ability to develop materials and deliver professional, highly engaging presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build consensus among stakeholders and work collaboratively across a diverse, globally distributed team.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical features into accessible go-to-market messaging.
• Project Management: Strong capability to quickly evaluate and prioritize competing projects in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Proactive approach to researching and analyzing project requirements from various stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
• Tool Proficiency: Extensive experience utilizing business management and analytics tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Tableau).

Target Base Salary Range

$125,000 - $140,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
