Job summary

Michels Pipeline, Inc. is seeking a Field Quality Manager to support field operations by overseeing QA/QC programs in the field.

The role requires conducting on-site inspections and routine assessments to ensure work meets quality expectations, project specifications, and industry standards. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of QA/QC experience in the pipeline industry, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years or more of QA/QC experience within Pipeline industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel across the United States.
• Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Related Industry Certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and AMPP Coating Inspector (Level 1–3) (desired).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and specifications (desired).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and compliance of the QA/QC programs in the field.
• Conduct on-site inspections and perform routine assessments to ensure work meets quality expectations and project specs.
• Collaborate with multiple groups to coordinate quality efforts in fast-paced environments.

As a Field Quality Manager, you will support field operations by overseeing the implementation and compliance of Michels’ QA/QC programs in the field. This role is responsible for conducting on-site inspections and performing routine assessments to ensure work meets quality expectations, project specifications, and industry standards. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
