Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Permian Basin / West Texas is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure conformance of materials and installation to project specifications on a 12‑mile pipeline project. Reporting to Site Quality Manager and Project Manager, you will inspect activities, generate daily/weekly reports, and maintain QA/QC records while promoting safety and on-schedule delivery.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years in construction trades, ISO/P&ID reading ability, and use of

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED plus 3–5 years in construction trades.
Inspection related certifications; CWI required.
Must read/interpret ISO, P&ID’s and red-line ISO.
Experience with civil, electrical, mechanical, pipeline/oil/gas, welding activities.
Able to read engineering drawings and technical procedures.
Must use inspection tools (Gal-Gauge, Pick Gauge, Hi-Lo, Filler Gauge).

Responsibilities

Promote and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Inspect and ensure quality during daily construction activities on a 12-mile pipeline project.
Read and interpret ISO/P&ID drawings and procedures.
Maintain accurate daily inspection records and punch lists.
Interface with field supervision and client to ensure QA/QC requirements are met.
Prepare daily and weekly QA/QC reports and ensure timely documentation.
