Job summary

Horwitz is seeking a Site Quality Representative to support the company’s Quality Control Program across mechanical, electrical, insulation, and control system installations. Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in mechanical/construction field.
• 3–5 years construction/QC/inspection experience.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Familiarity with SMACNA duct construction and installation standards preferred.
• Familiarity with NCPWB/UA welding, brazing, and pipefitting standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Schedule and support part-time QC personnel.
• Perform and document daily quality inspections.
• Submit the daily Quality Control Report.
• Maintain daily jobsite photographs and documentation.
• Review jobsite QC requirements with new hires.
• Oversee document control (plans, specs, RFIs, submittals, O&M manuals).
• Manage material receipt inspections and mill reports.
• Inspect installation quality of structures, ductwork, and systems.
• Verify duct installation and piping joints; oversee testing and turnover packages.
