Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide field quality oversight and inspection support for FAA air traffic control systems and infrastructure projects across the National Airspace System.

You will work with project management, engineering, field teams, subcontractors, and FAA stakeholders to ensure installation and site activities meet drawings, specifications, and safety standards, supporting a range of modernization efforts nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of equivalent field experience.
• Experience performing inspection, quality surveillance, construction oversight, or similar field activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and quality surveillances of installation, construction, and site activities per contract documents.
• Review work for compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and contract requirements.
• Document inspections of subcontractor and field work.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with project leadership.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and stakeholders.
