Job summary

JBCC is hiring a Quality Engineer to review contracts, local and federal QC requirements, and to create project-based Quality Control Plans. The role includes implementing QC Plans, scheduling testing, performing field inspections, and managing subcontractor inspections.

You will provide reports and analytics of inspections, assist QA audits, and contribute improvements to the Quality Management System. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field.
• Quality certifications preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Travel within area or region served.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, blueprints, and local & Federal QC requirements.
• Create project-based Quality Control Plans and review with Project Team.
• Implement QC Plans and schedule testing/inspections.
• Perform routine field inspections with accurate documentation.
• Provide reports, analytics, and trends from inspection data.
• Assist Quality Manager on QA audits and tasks.
