Job summary

RNGD is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support projects around Monroe, LA. You will perform inspections, testing, documentation, and field verification to ensure work meets project specs and RNGD quality standards.

The role partners with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to implement the project quality plan. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in construction fieldwork, and experience in QC, inspection, or materials testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction field experience.
• Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or materials testing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections to verify work is installed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct material verification and testing in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and tolerances.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Assist in coordinating third‑party testing agencies and ensure timely reporting of results.
• Verify corrective actions are implemented and properly documented.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality control records and inspection logs.
