Job summary

HireVenture is seeking a Quality Control Manager for Florida vertical construction to lead field-driven quality systems on active projects. You will prevent defects, strengthen field execution, and coach teams using standardized practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on oversight, with a focus on documenting findings, implementing corrective actions, and driving accountability across trades. Florida experience is preferred and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background in field supervision, QA/QC, closeout, or warranty roles.
• Proven ability to influence field teams and leadership without being overly administrative.
• Experience across core scopes such as concrete, framing, waterproofing, MEP, drywall, and finishes.
• Strong field observation, documentation, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive accountability and improve trade performance.
• Florida experience preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field quality walks across multiple projects and document findings with corrective action plans
• Establish and enforce benchmark installations, first-work approvals, inspection hold points, and quality checkpoints
• Partner with Superintendents and PMs to resolve field issues and improve trade performance
• Support mockups, testing, inspections, finish reviews, and milestone readiness assessments
• Identify recurring quality issues and drive standardization to prevent repeat problems across jobs
• Track quality trends and help improve companywide field execution standards
