Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician to ensure installation work meets standards through inspections, tests, and ongoing compliance monitoring. You will identify issues, document findings, and collaborate with teams to implement improvements and maintain high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of relevant experience and an associates degree or equivalent. The position may involve overtime, travel, and after-hours responsibilities in various weather

Qualifications

• One year of relevant work experience.
• Associates Degree in an industry related field or equivalent work experience.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the telecommunication construction industry standard practices.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure plans/specs are met.
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers for construction standards compliance.
• Identify issues and report to relevant team members for resolution.
• Record and follow up on non-compliance until resolved.
• Ensure all required testing is completed and document results.
• Support project activities and installation milestones as directed by management.
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed.
