Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to provide staff support on governmental projects during design and/or construction, including on-site inspections and daily documentation. The role emphasizes adherence to contract requirements and a thorough QA program across multiple phases.

Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS with eight years of experience; a Master’s degree in related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Master’s degree in Quality Assurance, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience supporting government construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformance with contract requirements.
• Oversee construction to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards.
• Attend site-based stakeholder meetings including Construction Progress meetings.
• Attend contractor's weekly project meetings.
• Participate in tests, demonstrations, and field instructions with the appropriate personnel.
• Complete and maintain records of field observations of quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking.
• Monitor the contractors’ quality program for conformance to the plan throughout construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan of corrective actions.
• Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Report critical issues to the Owner and provide resolution.
• Summarize significant test results in progress reports.
• Verify tests are conducted as scheduled, witness tests, and retain test records.
• Conduct daily site visits for CPM Project Schedule overview.
• RFIs and Shop drawing and construction submittal review compliance.
