Job Summary

The QC Inspector's main responsibility is to inspect, accept, or reject work performed in a specific discipline in compliance with applicable Codes and specifications. Disciplines include civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, or piping.

Essential Functions

• Actively support the company's commitment to safety and its core values.
• Represent the company with high moral standards, adhering to the code of business conduct and ethics.
• Observe and follow all safety procedures and regulations at the job site.
• Perform inspections and witness tests as required.
• Prepare reports and quality records according to procedures.
• Coordinate QC work with other departments such as start-up, engineering, and process.
• Conduct receipt inspections of materials with material control staff as needed.
• Verify that completed systems are installed correctly according to design specifications.
• Manage measuring and test equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• AWS CWI certification required.
• API 653 certification preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME Sec. VIII, Sec. IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 650/653, 1104 Codes.
• Strong understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
