Job summary

Michels Road & Stone, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control technician to support the project manager with material, concrete and soil testing on active construction sites in Wisconsin.

You will analyze and evaluate jobsites for conformance to bid specifications, prepare detailed test reports, determine results, and conduct inspections to verify design specifications. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of concrete quality experience and strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with

• 1–3 years of related concrete quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Safety minded and able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with quality assurance and technical assignments including material, concrete, and soil testing.
• Analyze and evaluate jobsites conformance to bid specifications.
• Prepare reports detailing tests conducted, determine results and conduct inspections of construction sites to determine conformance of sites to design specifications.
