Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters is seeking a QA/QC Assistant to support quality control for high-tech semiconductor projects in North Phoenix, AZ. This on-site role focuses on inspections, documentation, quality verification, and coordination with project teams to meet specifications and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in QA/QC, construction inspection, or related fields, with experience in semiconductor or industrial projects. Monday–Friday, full-time, DOE pay range $60,000–$70,000.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA/QC, field engineering, construction inspection, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, MEP, industrial construction, piping, welding, or high-tech facility projects preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and project documentation.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working full-time on active construction project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections for construction, MEP, piping, welding, equipment installation, and field activities.
• Review work against project drawings, specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Identify quality issues, non-conforming work, and potential rework risks.
• Support corrective action follow-up and verify completion of quality-related items.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality logs, punch lists, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, field engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Assist with walkdowns, audits, material checks, installation verification, and turnover documentation.
• Help ensure project work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
• Participate in site meetings and provide quality-related updates as needed.
• Perform additional QA/QC support duties as assigned.
