Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking a Pump Technician to ensure field and inventory units are in optimal operating condition. You will travel to customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance, and handle advanced repairs on returned units.

This safety-sensitive role requires strict adherence to safety protocols. Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of inventory control or field service experience is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Must obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in the rental/pump industry is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in the field, often with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to maintain and repair equipment on-site.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and evaluate pumps and hoses.
• Disassemble, evaluate, and repair rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
• Document work performed, parts used, and any additional repairs needed.
• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
