Job Description

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages, and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for complex first-party homeowner claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.

This is a Field Property Claims Adjuster position based in Phoenix, Arizona. The selected candidate must reside within the Phoenix metropolitan area and be willing to cover the Greater Phoenix area and surrounding territories.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling field property claims, proficiency with Xactimate software, and strong negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
  • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in the most complex of files
  • Apply mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assist leadership in formal and ad hoc training
  • Exhibit mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on complex 1st party homeowner losses of all severities
Education

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $50,000.00 - $90,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
